Using photographic processes from the early 19th century (anthotype, photogram, etc.), creation of monochrome prints revealed by light. The workshop will address the subject of photosynthesis through both a traditional approach (making photosensitive paper together from an emulsion of crushed plants) and a contemporary approach (video projection on traditional photosensitive paper), to explore a form of photography that is both ‘material’ and ‘alive’.
